When you talk with Erin McGovney you can tell that she loves her city and loves her job. She’s been in real estate since 2005 and in that time has really honed the skills needed to help people realize their house buying and selling goals. When you work with Erin you don’t just get an agent, you get a partner, project manager, friend, and constant resource. She’s a good listener who keeps the big picture in mind, the end result being that she can zero in on the best/fastest/most enjoyable way to get her clients in (or out!) of their homes.
If we could, we’d sell and buy another house with her RIGHT NOW, that’s how fun it is to work with Erin. – N + LJ
Patient, understanding, and (dare we say) fun are just a few words to describe Erin’s approach to her work. Erin is extremely thoughtful, but not afraid of open discussion. She works very hard for her clients and gets a kick out of maintaining the relationships long after keys have changed hands. In fact, working with clients is her favorite thing about her job – Erin goes out of her way to offer the best customer service possible. For Erin, making complicated transactions smooth and easy is one of the things she finds most fulfilling.
In ten years, Erin has racked up experience with almost every kind of transaction, from storefront leases and condo conversions to bare land, but her specialty is vintage, close-in Portland properties and she especially loves the challenge of the sell/buy combo.
Erin is a third-generation Oregonian, second-generation Realtor with a deep passion for Portland, food, community, and all things related to home. She’s got a real soft spot for shoe shopping and mid-Century modern rooflines. She relishes every opportunity to bake, jam, pickle, infuse, and grow things at home. She lives in Southwest Portland with her husband Kevin, and their son Max.
