I have known Penni & Alan for 17 years. They had moved here from New York, and initially were renting, thinking they would buy within a year or so. Then the recession hit, and they had no choice but to hunker down in their NE rental home.
Cut to 2016, and they were finally ready to become homeowners. Finding a unique property with room to garden, raise chickens, and board their own horses seemed an impossibility. We spent months searching as far North as Rainier, and as far South as Wilsonville, with no success.
Then, I discovered a horse property listed in Colton: 7 whole acres, complete with a six stall barn, arena, private pond, large chicken coop, and multiple pastures – all nestled above a beautiful creek!
54 minutes drive from my door to theirs, and beautiful scenery in between has captured their dreams! They’ve recently relocated their horses to the new barn, which is just a short walk from their kitchen door.
A little piece of country heaven on Earth for this lovely family.
