A career move found Allison and Luke packing up to journey across country from Charlotte, NC, to PDX, way back in 2010. They were excited by the adventure of relocating to a new region, and looked forward to the progressive, laid-back lifestyle and open-minded community that Portland is known for.
They’d enjoyed a cozy little SE rental for the past 5 years, but with their first baby on the way, it was time for them to buy a nest of their own a bit closer to the city. After some searching, they were thrilled to find a sweet little mid-century remodel in South Tabor – close to Mt. Tabor park, and all the fun, eclectic shops and eats on Hawthorne and Division. Not only was their offer successful, they also scored a friendly neighborhood community with great schools. They especially love that their new home is painted and updated, with hardwoods, bright, natural light, and a darling space for the baby’s room.
It’s no secret that the market has been wild in Portland this summer, and I was thrilled to help guide this lovely family through the chaos and into homeownership.
