There’s just something special about when an old town and an old soul find each other. After working with Alia for two years for that “just right” home, the Grace family finally found it. At the top of their wish list? Living in the quaint yet growing mini-metropolis of McMinnville.
The biggest obstacle in their search was finding a home built prior to the 1920s with a strong, solid foundation in a mostly vintage town. Homes from that era are notorious for structural concerns – their foundations are often made of post and pier, red brick, and a few even on compacted dirt with wood framing. Not ideal for structural integrity.
But have no fear – Alia is always scouting, and scouting she did. Nestled in the heart of downtown McMinnville, this sweet craftsman bungalow magically appeared. Built in 1915, it had the charm to match the structural integrity, as it had a newer cinder block crawlspace foundation. It was a match made in Yamhill County heaven.
Special clients, special house – it was that type of sale.
